Venkatesh Kumaresan

Venkatesh Kumaresan is working as a Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Biology, University of Texas at San Antonio, Texas, USA in Vaccine development against the bioterror agent Coxiella burnetii. His P.hD. was focused on "Transcriptome Analysis and Molecular Characterization of Selected Innate Immune Genes Induced By Epizootic Ulcerative Syndrome (EUS) Causing Pathogens in Snakehead Murrel (Channa striatus)". His current research is focused on Developing a Bait vaccine against the Lyme pathogen and understanding the host-pathogen interaction of Borrelia and innate and adaptive immune response.
