Pohokar is a Postgraduate student at the Department of Biotechnology currently working on "Evaluating potential antimicrobial and quorum quenching activity of synthetic chalcones and its applications in food packaging” under the mentorship of Prof. A. Jesu Arockia Raj (Research), Department of Biotechnology, College of Science and Humanities, SRMIST, Kattankulathur.
• His internship includes “Decomposition Culture in Biofertilizer”, in Om Agro Organics, Yavatmal, Maharashtra.
• He has completed his Bachelor's in Microbiology from R.L.T. college of Science, Akola, Maharashtra.
• His research interest and expertise include molecular biology, microbiology, pure culture handling of microbes, Food Microbiology.
