• Mr. S.P Ramya Ranjan Nayak is a research scholar in the Department of biotechnology currently working on "Role of gut microbial metabolites in cardiovascular dysfunction and diseases" under the guidance of Prof. A. Jesu Arockia Raj (Research), Department of Biotechnology, College of Science and Humanities,SRMIST, Kattankulathur.
• He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the University of Madras, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.
• He completed his Master's degree in Biotechnology from DG Vaishnav College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, securing the first rank in his class.
• He has presented research papers at several national and international conferences.
• He has expertise in animal handling, molecular and microbiological techniques, and a range of mammalian disease models.
• He received the Young Researcher Award at the International Conference on Trends in Biological Sciences: Impetus on Human Health. ICBS-2023, SRM Arts and Science College, Kattankulathur.
• His masters publication, entitled "In Silico Molecular Interaction Analysis and Pharmacokinetic Profiling of Flavonoids from Catharanthus roseus (Flower) Against TXNIP Protein," received the Trends in Sciences Best Paper Award for 2023 from the journal Trends in Sciences.
